The 2014 Catch Wrestling World Championship will be held at the 2014 MMA World Expo at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City on Sunday 27 July 2014. This will be the first Catch Wrestling World Championship in over 90 years! Former U.S. Olympic Coach and first American to win Gold in World/International Greco Roman competition, Floyd “Bad News” Winter will be our head official and all match announements will be conducted by the Godfather of MMA Media, Eddie Goldman from No Holds Barred Radio.
The Catch Wrestling World Championship will be held in honor/memory of the legendary Wrestler and Coach Billy Robinson. All competitors will receive FREE admission to the 2014 MMA World Expo on Sunday July 27th, and a FREE Billy Robinson memorial tee-shirt. All division winners will receive Trophies and the Absolute/Open Weight division winner will receive the 2014 Catch Wrestling World Championship Belt!
